Color Chain is a free, browser-based color matching game. We are fully committed to your privacy. The short answer: we collect nothing personal — everything stays on your device.
We do not collect, process, or transmit any of the following:
No account, registration, or login is required or possible. The game is entirely anonymous by design.
The only browser storage we use is localStorage under the key cc_best to save your personal best score. This data exists only on your device, cannot be read by us or any third party, and can be deleted at any time via your browser's site-data settings.
Color Chain is 100% free. No in-app purchases, no virtual currencies, no loot boxes, no paid upgrades, and absolutely no gambling mechanics. Scores have zero real-world monetary value.
Our hosting provider may retain standard server access logs (timestamps, approximate geographic region) for security purposes. These are not linked to individuals and are purged on a rolling schedule.
We use Google Fonts to load our typefaces. Google may collect anonymised font-delivery metrics. No other third-party analytics, advertising networks, social logins, or tracking pixels are integrated.
We do not set, read, or rely on any cookies. The only browser storage used is localStorage for the best score, as described in section 3.
Because we collect no personal information from anyone, there is no special data risk for younger users. We comply with the spirit of COPPA, GDPR-K, and equivalent global frameworks.
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no personal data at risk of a server-side breach. Your locally stored score is protected by your own device's security model.
You may clear your locally stored score at any time via browser site-data settings. As we hold no personal data server-side, there is nothing further to access, correct, or erase.
If our privacy practices change, we will update this page and revise the effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
